KOME JE NAMIJENJENA RADIONICA?
Radionica je namijenjena djelatnicima ustanovama iz područja kulture koji žele naučiti više o mogućnostima tehnologije ulančanih blokova (engl. blockchain) u kontekstu upravljanja nezamjenjivim tokenima (engl. non-fungible tokens, NFT) i primjeni u kontekstu baštinskih institucija.


PREDUVJETI
Polaznici trebaju:
1. obavezno ponijeti vlastito računalo s kojim mogu pristupiti internetu i na kojem imaju administratorska prava za instalaciju dodataka u internetske preglednike,
2. ponijeti pametni mobitel na kojem imaju pristup internetskom bankarstvu i iznosu od najmanje 20 EUR.


ŠTO SE DOBIVA UZ RADIONICU?
Uz radionicu polaznici dobivaju set tiskanih materijala i materijale u digitalnom obliku. Na kraju polaznici dobivaju potvrdu o pohađanju radionice u obliku NFT-a. Kava, čaj i sitni zalogaji su uključeni u cijenu radionice.

The workshop is held as part of the project "Application of blockchain technology in heritage environment" funded by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb.

Održan radni sastanak suradnika i partnera na projektu

Working meeting of collaborators and project partners

On September 11, 2023, at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the University of Zagreb, a working meeting of associates and partners of the project Application of blockchain technology in heritage environment. Along with researchers professor Hrvoje Stančić, Ph. D., associate professor Arian Rajh, Ph.D., assistant professor Helena Stublić , Ph.D, and doctoral student Matea Bilogrivić in the meeting also participated: Darko Rubčić, Director of the State Archives in Zagreb, Željka Dmitrus-Purić, Head of the Department for Arranging and Processing Archival Materials of the State Archives in Zagreb, Markita Franulić, Director of the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum, and Vesna Meštrić, Acting duties of the director of the Museum of Contemporary Art.

At the meeting, the results of the project were presented, future steps and potential for additional cooperation were discussed, and everything was concluded with a working lunch.

Libraries of the city of Zagreb are organizing an expert meeting under the title "15 years of the Digitized Zagreb Heritage project: 2007-2022.“ in which the head of the project Application of blockchain technology in the heritage environment, prof. Ph.D. Hrvoje Stančić, participates as a speaker with the topic Known Unknowns - Zagreb's heritage as NFT. The meeting will be held on December 1, 2022 in a hybrid format, live at the Zagreb City Library, Starčevićev trg 6, Zagreb and online via the Zoom platform.

Izdana prva serija NFT-ova u suradnji s Državnim arhivom u Zagrebu

The first series of NFTs was issued in cooperation with the State Archives in Zagreb

In accordance with the planned project activities, the creation of the first series of NFTs was completed in cooperation with the State Archives in Zagreb. NFTs represent portraits of exceptional, but unknown to the general public, figures from the history of Zagreb and are available for purchase and viewing via the OpenSea platform.

Započelo stvaranje NFT-ova u suradnji sa Državnim arhivom u Zagrebu

Creation of NFTs started in cooperation with the State Archives in Zagreb

As part of the project "Application of blockchain technology in heritage environment", the creation of NFTs began in cooperation with the State Archives in Zagreb.

NFTs will represent portraits of persons from the history of Zagreb and will be available through the OpenSea platform. More information soon via official web page and on the official Discord channel.

Pokrenut znanstveni projekt “Primjena tehnologije ulančanih blokova u baštinskom okruženju”

Scientific project launched: "Application of blockchain technology in heritage environment"

At the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, the scientific project "Application of blockchain technology in heritage environment" was launched.

The project will explore the possibilities of applying blockchain technology in the field of cultural heritage with the aim of confirming the authenticity, integrity, originality and reliability of digitized and originally digital documents and artifacts in archives, libraries and museums, especially digital works of art. It is an extremely current topic, and scientific research and application in the real environment are still at the very beginning of development and show enormous potential. The project is conceived as the first phase of a long-term planned research that will generate a model of management and use of blockchain technology in the field of cultural heritage and guidelines for its application.

This project was designed within the field of Information and Communication Sciences and refers to one of the main determinants of the Department's research activity as "an active participant in the social changes that heritage institutions are undergoing in a time of strong technological advancements and a virtual world in which institutions with all their resources and changes enter" (from the Strategic Research Program of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, p. 13).
