Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, is the oldest component of the University of Zagreb, which is also among the oldest universities in Europe (1669). The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is the largest Croatian scientific and higher education institution in the field of humanities and social sciences, as well as an important cultural institution with a great influence in Croatian culture and society. Today, the faculty organizes 42 university undergraduate courses (32 double-subject and 10 single-subject) and 33 graduate studies (4 single-subject and 29 double-subject). Apart from them, free studies of Japanology and Sinology are also conducted.
State Archives in Zagreb performs archival services in relation to archival and registry materials of regional and local bodies, legal entities with public powers, public services, public institutions and public companies, companies that were created from former public companies and others that perform public service or have public authority, legal entities, families and individuals and in relation to private archival material, which is also protected by the Act on Archival Materials and Archives, and whose owners perform activities in the area of activity of the State Archives in Zagreb and in relation to material that was created on in the area of activity of the State Archives in Zagreb, regardless of where it is currently stored.
Technical Museum Nikola Tesla, a museum in Zagreb that deals with the collection, protection, preservation and display of tangible and intangible technical heritage. It was founded by the decision of the city of Zagreb in 1954, following the example of the world's great scientific and technical museums. Since 2015, it has been called by the name of Nikola Tesla. Today, in addition to its regular activity, it contributes to the field of educational work, and popularizes science and technology through a series of lectures, workshops, interactive content, etc., and occasionally organizes exhibitions and events to present various fields of technology and science.
Museum of Contemporary Art Zagreb is a lively place of creating, exhibiting, interpreting and preserving contemporary art in all its manifestations. Its goal is to encourage and nurture the understanding of contemporary art through professional, innovative and educational use of exhibitions and collections, enabling the most diverse groups of visitors to learn, create and have a unique experience. As a multi-program institution, it mediates heritage and the contemporary scene, from visual to performance to film art, thus making it an active and critical part of the community.
